Drawing on a wide range of therapeutic approaches, she works within a collaborative, person-centred, humanistic framework—both guiding and being guided by her clients. Her focus is on helping people explore, understand, and integrate their lived experiences, with the aim of fostering authentic, meaningful lives.
Over the past 17 years, Charlotte has worked across public, private, and not-for-profit mental health services, offering both group and individual support. She has extensive experience in the field of addictions, as well as with adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, complex PTSD, and family of origin challenges, and interpersonal difficulties. Her interests extend deeply into the realms of grief and loss, major life transitions, and the emotional complexities of fertility and pregnancy journeys.
Charlotte is trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. She describes herself as an eclectic psychologist, tailoring her approach to meet each client where they are, offering interventions that suit their unique needs.
